BMC - Our Major Sponsor

The challenge of bike engineering is to design the lightest possible frame which at the same time is very stiff, stable and safe, but still provides optimal power transfer from you to the ground. In a world of look-alike commodity bikes, BMC Bicycles create fascination through their unique Swiss design and technically perfect form. By combining high tech materials from the industry’s leading suppliers, Swiss engineering, and innovative frame designs, BMC Bicycles represent Swiss cycling precision.

BMC have engineered their Fourstroke (100mm) and Trailfox (120mm) series of bikes with the XC and marathon rider in mind. By utilising custom made precision bearings, compact forged pivot arms, and a closed rear triangle, the BMC patented VPS (Virtual Pivot System) suspension leads the industry in terms of stiffness and durability. The tuned wheel displacement curve of the VPS and custom tuned shocks ensure that VPS equipped bikes pedal as well as any other design available. Lightweight, efficient, durable, and beautiful, the Fourstroke and Trailfox embody all that BMC Bicycles represent. In Australia BMC Bicycles are distributed by leading wholesaler Dirt Works Australia.

Test ride a BMC Fourstroke or Trailfox at a BMC WWS event this year. Let yourself be captured by our passion!

Australian Mountain Bike Clinics

Make a weekend of it at the BMC WWS! For those wanting to hone their skills and get that edge for the BMC WWS, Australian Mountain Biking Clinics (AMBC) will be there to help. AMBC will be sending a few of their trainers to spread some of their magic with a series of clinics on the Saturday.

Racelines will take riders around the BMC WWS course, demonstrate the best line to take and give riders a chance to session them. To give everyone a chance to learn at their level, there’ll be two types of Racelines on offer.

No matter the level, Racelines will get riders moving faster and more confidently through the 8 hour. Faster laps means more laps. More laps means more fun on the course! Group sizes are limited, so book in early!

This course will be held at 12:30pm Saturday - click here to book - Cost: $40.

Racelines for Weekend Warriors - will teach intermediate riders faster lines through the BMC WWS course, tips on technique & skills, race etiquette, race nutrition & preparation.
